What’s new: Electric Gamebox opens at Victoria Gardens; nurses get free smoothie today at juice chain

A new take on escape rooms has opened in Rancho Cucamonga, blending team strategy and digital technology inside innovative “game boxes.”

The immersive gaming franchise Electric Gamebox opened April 7 at Victoria Gardens.

Players in groups of two to six people go inside interactive “digital smart rooms,” or “Gamebox” pods. Inside the box, players use touch screens, Lidar and 3D-motion tracking to play a game.

Teams play a series of games and challenges that can only be completed through collaboration. The gaming experience, the company says, lasts between 15 and 60 minutes.

“It is no easy task finding good multifamily opportunities in Southern California,” said Andrew Gi at MAG Capital Partners.

The seller was represented by The Mogharebi Group’s Costa Mesa office. Judd Dunning of DWG Capital Group’s Los Angeles office structured the financing for the buyer.
