Even better, you can play this game with up to four friends! The kart will react as you use your game controls. Unlock costumes, environments, and more within the game as you race along in-home and on the screen.

Plus, your real-life kart will react to what’s happening on the screen. If you crash on-screen, you’ll see your real kart slow down right before your eyes.

Super interactive and tons of fun. It comes with a little kart, either Mario or Luigi depending on what you buy, a charger for the kart, 4 gates for the course, and a 2-speed booster. The gates and speed boosters are cardboard and easily fold to put out or put away. When you download the game you can set up the gates wherever you want around your space and drive the kart through them to set up the course. I was surprised by how flexible the courses are. You set them up virtually anywhere!

The kart is easy to control and is very user-friendly but cannot make tight turns, which is expected with any remote control car. While racing, if the kart in the game gets hit with a banana, for example, the physical kart will slow down for a few seconds to simulate it. It’s really impressive how they’ve made it work. $100 is pricey but worth your buck, in my opinion.

Head this way for even more Nintendo Switch fun!
