Netflix Tudum 2022 event: Schedule, how to watch, and what to expect

Netflix holds an annual fan event called Tudum. During the event, Netflix's biggest stars and creators from across the world - representing dozens of movies, shoes, and specials - join a virtual stage to reveal trailers and first looks and to announce news about upcoming projects. It's basically a showcase of what the streamer has coming down the pike. This year, Netflix is holding Tudum in September. Here's how to watch it.

What is Netflix Tudum?

Turn up the volume on your TV and open the Netflix app. What do you hear? "Tudum!" That's the noise that greets you every time you start to use Netflix, and it's also the name of Netflix's "global fan event". It's an annual exhibition of the streamer's upcoming movies and shows, providing viewers with sizzling updates about its various projects and also teasing them with clips and even behind-the-scenes footage. There's also a literal fan event aspect, with interactive panels and conversations with the creators and stars, including some of Netflix's most popular shows. Last year there were panels on Stranger Things, Bridgerton, The Witcher, and The Crown.
