  • Whether you’re a fan of DnD, or you enjoy Lovecraftian Horror, you’ll love this session with the team from Chaosium.Call of Cthulhu is one of the world's most popular tabletop RPGs, and you can learn all about it from the creators right here.
  • Panelists: Andrew Bean (Chaosium), Michael O'Brien (Chaosium), Kelly Grant (Call of Cthulhu writer), Allen Carey (TYPE 40)

1:00pm - 2:00pm – Writing for Tabletop RPGs: Getting Started Panel

3:00pm - 3:45pm – Done with the Dungeon? Panel

  • Do you love DnD? Want to try something different? The panelists here all agree Dungeons and Dragons is great, but it's merely the tip of the tabletop iceberg. All panelists will share their own "RPG origin story" (which often does start with D&D), but then broaden your horizons to the myriad of other RPG opportunities there are out there beyond.
  • Panelists: Michael O'Brien (Chaosium), Ian Cooper (Chaosium), Brian Holland (Chaosium and Paradox Interactive), Alex Catton (Writer), Hayley Gordon (Storybrewers).

Sunday, August 9

12:00pm - 3:00pm – Guest Play: Call of Cthulhu Actual Play

  • We’re throwing the guests in the deep end with this session! None of them have played Call of Cthulhu before, and now they’re playing with the creators LIVE! If you’re looking for a laugh, or a great intro to the game, definitely come check out this Guestplay session!
  • With Keeper James Coquillat (Chaosium).
