NEW! Mortise Chisels Due to popular demand, Two Cherries have now brought out these new mortise chisels with smaller handles, more in keeping with North American traditions. Same blade as the heavy duty (large handled) mortise chisels, as well as the leather washer for shock absorbency; like all other Two Cherries chisels, these are manufactured from high carbon steel, which enables them to be ground to 25° rather than the 30° to 35° of high speed steel, allowing for easier chopping of mortises; manufactured to the exacting European DIN standard 5143.

Mortise Chisels Heavy-duty mortise chisel designed to take the levering and hammering required when making mortise joints; leather washer between the blade and handle to help absorb impacts; large double-hooped round hornbeam handle; manufactured to the exacting European DIN standard 5143:
